A Brand is Born

Logo was born on July 1, 2005 to deliver entertainment through a multitude of content platforms, to the under-served Lesbian Gay Bi Transexal (LGBT) community. Since the launch, I have collaborated with the Vice President of Creative, the Vice President of Online Production & the On-air Design Director at Logo/MTVN. Our goals have been to develop & synchronize Logo’s brand across all platforms and acquired brands. I have designed & implemented the following: online toolkits, style guides & many online products including their production workflows. Throughout the process I have worked with various partners & vendors; such as our download-to-own launch on Apple’s iTunes, Xbox Live, Amazon Unbox, Google & AOL video; Yahoo! Content Match Ad Service; & the Google Search Appliance.

Understanding Interaction

The most successful designs are those that intertwine visual aesthetics and the understanding of the product’s end user. Comprehensive wireframes, detailed test cases, illustrative prototypes, & universal usability is my idea of quality interaction design.

Building More Than Web Sites

Designing memorable brands, developing smart layouts and crafting solid user interfaces are only part of the responsibilities of a good Art Director. By promoting career growth on an individual basis, laughing with my crew, and leading by example, I work to build a concrete foundation that produces quality design.
